X CEO Linda Yaccarino referred to as proprietor Elon Musk “candid and profound” in a memo to employees addressing the general public interview wherein Musk advised advertisers to “go fuck your self.”
“Elon’s interview was candid and profound,” Yaccarino wrote in a memo to staff of X (previously Twitter) yesterday. “He shared an unmatched and fully unvarnished perspective and imaginative and prescient for the longer term. If you have not watched it, please take the time to soak up the magnitude and significance of what we’re all part of.”
Yaccarino was referring to Musk’s on-stage interview at The New York Occasions’ DealBook Summit on Wednesday. Musk spoke about two weeks after he posted a good response to an antisemitic tweet, inflicting an advertiser backlash that added to X’s already vital monetary struggles.
