Epic simply premiered a brand new quick mocking Apple shortly after the iPhone-maker kicked Fortnite from the App Retailer for violating its tips on Thursday. The quick, titled “Nineteen Eighty-Fortnite,” instantly mocks Apple’s iconic “1984” advert, taking well-known imagery from the advert and giving it a cartoony Fortnite twist.
A person with an apple for a face on an enormous display screen talks to a soulless, black-and-white viewers. “Immediately, we have fun the anniversary of the platform unification directives,” says the apple in a menacing voice. “For years, they’ve given us their songs, their labor, their desires. In alternate, we have now taken our tribute, our income, our management. This energy is ours and ours alone. We will prevail.”
