SpaceX to attempt once more to launch its 12th operational Starlink mission [Updated]

8:25am ET Replace on Oct. 1: This mission is again on the pad and prepared for launch after a climate delay, and contending with a crowded vary. SpaceX deferred to United Launch Alliance this week whereas that firm made two makes an attempt to get its Delta IV Heavy booster off the pad. The second try was unsuccessful late on Wednesday evening.

Liftoff for this Starlink mission is deliberate for 9:17am ET (13:17 UTC) Thursday. Climate situations are 70-percent favorable at the moment.

10:25am ET Replace on Sept. 28: Monday morning’s launch try of the Starlink-12 mission was scrubbed within the final moments of the countdown attributable to thick clouds over the launch website at Kennedy House Heart. SpaceX doesn’t have a back-up launch window for this mission as a result of there are two launches scheduled over the subsequent two days.
