Lyft is cracking down on late passengers. The ridesharing firm quietly up to date its help web page with new wait time charges that it’ll cost at a per-minute charge, a coverage that’s been round since December 2022, in accordance with Lyft spokesperson Katie Kim (through TechCrunch).
The wait time charges begin two minutes after a driver arrives at your location or 5 minutes for Lux Black and Lux Black XL rides. If a driver reaches your location forward of time, the wait time charges gained’t kick in till two minutes after your scheduled pickup.
