Linux is getting its personal Blue Display of Demise

Linux is getting its personal model of a Blue Display of Demise (BSOD). Phoronix studies that the newest launch of systemd for Linux programs comes with a systemd-bsod service that’s in a position to generate a full-screen error message on Linux distributions.

Very similar to how the Blue Display of Demise originated in Home windows, Linux’s model can be used as an emergency software to log errors. If a Linux system fails as well, it’ll generate a full-screen message that shows a QR code to get extra info on what’s inflicting the boot challenge. This was reportedly added as a part of an Outreachy venture, a gaggle that gives internships for folks to work on open-source instruments.
