The traditionally inaccurate photos and textual content generated by Google’s Gemini AI have “offended our customers and proven bias,” CEO Sundar Pichai instructed workers in an inside memo obtained by The Verge.
Final week, Google paused Gemini’s means to generate photos after it was broadly found that the mannequin generated racially various, Nazi-era German troopers, US Founding Fathers who had been non-white, and even inaccurately portrayed the races of Google’s personal co-founders.
