WhatsApp is utilizing Standing messages—its model of Tales— to attempt to reassure customers about privateness

Fb-owned messaging app WhatsApp has began posting Standing messages to customers about its “dedication to your privateness.” The in-app messages had been showing for members of The Verge employees within the US and UK on Saturday, and a few customers reported the Standing messages — WhatsApp’s model of Snapchat Tales or Twitter Fleets—have been showing in India for some time now.
