Twitter blocked in Nigeria after deleting a tweet by its president

Twitter is suspended “indefinitely” in Nigeria, “for the persistent use of the platform for actions which might be able to undermining Nigeria’s company existence,” based on a press release (threaded on Twitter) from the nation’s minister of data and tradition. The transfer comes days after the platform eliminated a threatening tweet by president Muhammadu Buhari which Twitter stated violated its “abusive conduct” coverage.
