Trump vows to not prolong TikTok deadline past September 15

ByteDance, the Chinese language firm that owns TikTok, is dealing with a looming September 15 deadline to promote its US operations or have them shut down by the Trump administration. On Thursday night, President Trump instructed reporters that the deadline would not be pushed again.

“We’ll both shut up TikTok on this nation for safety causes, or it will be offered,” Trump stated simply earlier than boarding a flight to Michigan. “I am not extending deadlines. No. It is September 15. There might be no extension of the TikTok deadline.”
