Tesla staff in California are exempt from state’s new COVID-19 orders

Workers at Tesla’s Fremont plant are “important staff” and subsequently exempt from new statewide COVID-19 well being orders, CNBC reported. The California Division of Public Well being says manufacturing is taken into account an “important workforce” — and that applies to Tesla’s manufacturing, too.
