Neil Younger was mad. Now his followers are, too, they usually’re telling Spotify about it.

Earlier this week, Younger had requested the music-streaming service to take away his music from its library in response to COVID misinformation aired on Joe Rogan’s podcast, which is accessible solely on Spotify. “I would like you to let Spotify know instantly TODAY that I would like all my music off their platform,” Younger wrote on his web site. “They’ll have Rogan or Younger. Not each.”

Spotify complied with the request, which finally got here from Warner Brothers, Younger’s label. Although the lack of Younger’s music seemingly represents a small proportion of general streams on Spotify, Younger identified that “Spotify represents 60% of the streaming of my music to listeners around the globe.”
