The mayor of a small metropolis in Maryland at present was arrested and charged with 50 counts of distributing revenge porn on Reddit, the Maryland state prosecutor’s workplace introduced.
Cambridge Mayor Andrew Bradshaw, 32, “created a number of accounts on the general public Web discussion board ‘Reddit,’ using public usernames consisting of permutations of the title and birthdate of an individual, recognized as Sufferer-1, who had a previous romantic relationship with Mr. Bradshaw,” the announcement stated. Bradshaw allegedly “posted nude pictures of Sufferer-1, captioned with racial slurs and sexually specific language, on these ‘Reddit’ accounts and varied ‘Subreddit’ boards that have been associated to sexual exercise, humiliation, degradation, race, and different matters.”
Every of the 50 counts carries a most penalty of two years in jail and a superb of $5,000. Police had executed a search and seizure warrant on the mayor’s workplace in Metropolis Corridor on August 4.
