Safety researcher sounds alarm over ATM NFC reader vulnerabilities

IOActive safety researcher Josep Rodriquez has warned that the NFC readers utilized in many fashionable ATMs and point-of-sale techniques are leaving them susceptible to assaults, Wired studies. The issues make them susceptible to a spread of issues, together with being crashed by a close-by NFC gadget, locked down as a part of a ransomware assault, and even hacked to extract sure bank card information.
