Russians are panic-buying medicines amid Western sanctions, boycotts

As Western nations proceed to ratchet up sanctions and boycotts towards Russia, the nation’s residents are panic-buying medicines, equivalent to antidepressants, sleeping tablets, and contraceptives, in line with Reuters.

Between February 28 and March 13, Russians purchased 270.5 million pharmaceutical gadgets price about $104 billion, in line with gross sales knowledge compiled for the Russian enterprise newspaper Vedomosti. That two weeks’ price of shopping for was corresponding to what Russians purchased at pharmacies for the whole month of January, which noticed purchases of 280 million pharmaceutical gadgets price about $100 billion.
