Nuclear Throne developer Vlambeer is shutting down after a decade of video games

Vlambeer, the indie studio behind beloved video games akin to Tremendous Crate Field, Nuclear Throne, and Ridiculous Fishing, is shutting down. The developer, which celebrates its 10th anniversary at the moment, introduced the information on Twitter. “We had a stupendous run, made unbelievable video games, and labored with superb folks, however it’s time for brand spanking new issues,” the developer stated. “So we’re asserting the top of Vlambeer.”

The Dutch studio was based in 2010 by Jan Willem Nijman and Rami Ismail and has been a stalwart of the indie group.
