Nissan revealed a prototype manufacturing facility in Yokohama, Japan, on Friday, the place the corporate says it plans to fabricate solid-state batteries to be used in electrical autos. The corporate stated in a press release that it plans “to determine a pilot manufacturing line at its Yokohama Plant in fiscal 2024, with supplies, design and manufacturing processes for prototype manufacturing on the road to be studied on the prototype manufacturing facility.” Nissan goals to carry its first EV with all-solid-state batteries to market in 2028.
