Twitter proprietor and CEO Elon Musk is now suspending some journalists who write about him, together with reporters from The New York Instances, Washington Put up, and CNN. The journalist suspensions appear to be a part of Musk’s quest to erase references or hyperlinks to the now-suspended ElonJet account that used publicly obtainable knowledge from ADS-B Trade to trace Musk’s personal jet.

Musk claimed the suspended journalists violated the brand new coverage that bans sharing of reside places in most eventualities. Musk wrote that the “identical doxxing guidelines apply to ‘journalists’ as to everybody else” and that the suspended journalists “posted my precise real-time location, mainly assassination coordinates, in (apparent) direct violation of Twitter phrases of service.”

It seems that merely posting a hyperlink to the ElonJet account on different social networks is sufficient for a suspension.
