Merriam-Webster acquires widespread Wordle clone, Quordle

Quordle, the word-solving sport that emerged on the top of Wordle’s reputation, has been acquired by Merriam-Webster, as first reported by TechCrunch. The sport now lives instantly on Merriam-Webster’s web site, somewhat than by itself.

“I’m delighted to announce that Quordle was acquired by @MerriamWebster,” a submit on Quorlde’s Twitter account reads. “I can’t consider a greater dwelling for this sport. Numerous information options and enjoyable to come back, so keep tuned!”

Quordle is only one of many spinoffs that attempted to piggyback off of the success of Wordle, which had customers posting their scores throughout Twitter and competing with buddies to unravel the phrase of the day with the least guesses.
