Jack Dorsey takes accountability for Elon Musk’s mass layoffs at Twitter

Jack Dorsey, Twitter’s co-founder and former CEO, responded to the mass layoffs underneath Elon Musk’s possession by saying he owns “the accountability for why everyone seems to be on this scenario” and that he grew the corporate “too rapidly.” On Friday, Musk laid off about half of Twitter’s workforce, affecting staff throughout all departments.

“Of us at Twitter previous and current are sturdy and resilient. They’ll at all times discover a manner regardless of how tough the second,” Dorsey writes. “I understand many are indignant with me. I personal the accountability for why everyone seems to be on this scenario: I grew the corporate measurement too rapidly. I apologize for that.”
