Google is reorganizing its accountable AI groups within the wake of Timnit Gebru’s firing. The moral AI crew will now roll as much as Marian Croak, a distinguished Black government within the engineering division. Croak can even oversee staff centered on engineering equity merchandise, based on Bloomberg. She’s going to report back to Jeff Dean, who leads the corporate’s AI efforts.
