Faculties throughout US cancel courses over unconfirmed TikTok threats

Faculty districts throughout america are cancelling courses on Friday, December 17th resulting from stories of threats which are supposedly being made on TikTok. Districts in California, Texas, Minnesota, and Missouri have mentioned they plan to shut down Friday in response, in keeping with the districts and native media stories. Elsewhere, districts have mentioned they plan to have heightened police presence or have emailed mother and father to say they’ve been investigating the allegations.

However to date, there’s little proof that the threats are credible — and even exist.
