Election hoax spreading by way of textual content messages in Michigan

A textual content message marketing campaign is focusing on individuals in Michigan with misinformation about “poll sensor points.” The messages declare a “typographical error” is inflicting individuals who voted for Joe Biden to have their votes switched to President Trump, and individuals who voted for Trump to have their votes switched to Biden, based on The Washington Put up. The hoax message claims to be coming from the FBI.

Michigan Legal professional Basic Dana Nessel warned voters the textual content messages are pretend. “Dearborn voters, textual content messages are reportedly being despatched to trick you into pondering there are poll sensor points,” she tweeted. “Don’t fall for it, it’s a trick!”
