Blizzard hires a vice chairman of tradition to repair its tradition

California’s Division of Truthful Employment and Housing sued Blizzard final July, saying it “created a tradition of ‘fixed sexual harassment’ and gender-based discrimination.” The revelations that adopted via the remainder of the 12 months solely served to verify these assertions, and whilst accusations of retaliation proceed to roll in, a brand new set of leaders say they’re dedicated to creating modifications.

In January, Blizzard president Mike Ybarra wrote about “the work we’re doing to rebuild your belief in Blizzard,” and included descriptions of a number of full-time management roles devoted to altering the tradition.
