Biden administration makes $1 billion in grants obtainable for broadband on tribal lands

The Biden administration will make $1 billion in grants obtainable to develop broadband entry and adoption on tribal lands, Vice President Kamala Harris introduced on the White Home Thursday. The funds, from the Commerce Division’s Nationwide Telecommunications and Data Administration (NTIA), shall be made to eligible Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian entities for broadband deployment, to help digital inclusion, workforce growth, telehealth, and distance studying.
