A grand jury in California’s Santa Clara County has indicted Thomas Moyer, Apple’s head of worldwide safety, for bribery. Moyer is accused of providing 200 iPads to the Santa County Sheriff’s workplace in trade for hid carry permits for 4 Apple workers.
Moyer’s lawyer says that he did nothing incorrect, and notably Apple is standing behind its government.
“We anticipate all of our workers to conduct themselves with integrity,” an Apple spokesperson mentioned in a press release. “After studying of the allegations, we performed a radical inner investigation and located no wrongdoing.”
