Apple reportedly offers retail managers anti-union scripts

Apple has been teaching retail retailer managers on easy methods to try to speak staff out of unionizing, based on Vice. The report says the corporate has despatched round a doc filled with speaking factors like “an outdoor union that doesn’t know Apple” or its tradition, or “most union contracts give choice based mostly on seniority.” The doc additionally encourages retailer leaders to “contact base” with staff about potential union exercise.

This comes at a time when there are union drives at a number of Apple retail shops — two have formally petitioned the Nationwide Labor Relations Board to carry union elections, and one other is trying to take action.
