Amazon’s anti-union conduct made free election “unimaginable,” NLRB officer finds

Amazon interfered with a union-certification vote, and a second election must be held, a Nationwide Labor Relations Board (NLRB) official wrote in a report launched yesterday. Amazon’s anti-union misconduct made a “free and truthful election… unimaginable,” the report mentioned.

A majority of Amazon employees at a achievement middle in Bessemer, Alabama, voted in opposition to certifying a union in April. The Retail, Wholesale, and Division Retailer Union subsequently filed a criticism with the NLRB and was in a position to persuade the listening to officer that Amazon interfered with the election.
