Tennessee has gone “anti-vaccine,” state vaccine chief says after being fired

The Tennessee state authorities on Monday fired its prime vaccination official, Dr. Michelle Fiscus, who says that state leaders have “purchased into the anti-vaccine misinformation marketing campaign.”

In a fiery assertion revealed late Monday by The Tennessean, Fiscus warns that because the delta variant continues to unfold within the undervaccinated state, extra Tennesseans “will proceed to change into sick and die from this vaccine-preventable illness as a result of they select to hearken to the nonsense unfold by ignorant individuals.”
